Events:: Glamping Camping

Looking for something out of the box when it comes to a corporate team building or a retreat?  What about camping?  Not just any type of camping, more like glamping.  Have you heard that term before?  It’s nice camping, it’s pretty camping.  I don’t want to say it’s girly camping because it’s not.
Imagine taking 10-15 executives to the Sonoma Coast where they can get away from their cell…

Sunday Coffee Sippin’

Happy Sunday friends.  Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.  Mine has been very relaxing.  Yesterday I was able to get the ever so needed haircut and highlight and had an impromptu early dinner date with a dear friend.  We ate so much that we ended the evening with a nice walk so our gi-normous belly’s could go back to normal.  It was great to catch up and just “be.”  This is a…

Currently Obsessed #1

Happy Friday!
Thought it would be fun to share some of my current obsessions.  I’m in love with bright colors and I’m craving bright colored pants.  Hot Pink just might be the one.  I think the ban.do bobbi pin would look just darling with it – don’t you?  And that maxi dress? Oh my.  That has me written all over it.  The flea bracelet can be paired with all the outfits – it’s so…

Encouragement:: Letting Go

Hi, My name is Caryl and I’m a control freak.
I first came across this image earlier in the week over at vmac & cheese’s blog (by the way – love Victoria’s blog – you need to check it out).  There was something about it that really hit home for me.  With all the health issues happening with my Mom and Dad – the one thing we so desperately wanted was to control the situation.  Control…

Live Event:: Coupa Roadshow Series

We’re busy bees today with the kick-off of the Coupa 3 City Roadshow Series.  From marketing materials to t-shirts to signage, it’s very apparent that Coupa is in the house.  All the seats are filled.  Normally companies doing roadshows have about a 40-50% drop off.  Not this time, we’ve only had a 15% drop off.  Wondering why?  Well, each registrant received a confirmation email as…

What’s In Your Carry-On with Jeanne Chan

I’m super excited to start a new series…what’s in your carry-on bag.  We all have our must haves when we travel.  Remember mine?  You can check it out here.
To kick off this series, Jeanne Chan of Shop Sweet Things is giving us a peak into her must haves’s when she travels.  She’s going to be heading to Montreal soon.
I first met Jeanne at a blogger event in the city.  I had actually…

Events:: An Airstream & A Picnic Table

I love out of the box designs when it comes to tradeshow booths and both of these will have people talking.  I was recently at a college bookstore tradeshow and I found myself drawn to all of the non-traditional booths.  They’re inviting, interesting and make you want to pull up a seat and stay awhile.

Sunday Coffee Sippin’

Happy Sunday everyone.  What are your plans today?  We’re going to relax, maybe take a swim in the pool and just spend time as a family.  Last night was our first hot tub of the season and the grill was going.  It was perfection.  The last 2 weeks have been crazy that I definitely have a lot of catching up to do with my favorite blog reads.  See this picture above…that’s where…

An Alfresco Mingle

The weather has been gorgeous in Phoenix and today I’m heading back to the bay area.  Kinda excited to see my two favorite guys and also looking forward to the continued nice weather.
We have an apple tree in our backyard and when I saw these photos, I thought what a perfect spot of a little alfresco mingle with friends.
