Room 101: The Carneros Inn

The Carneros Inn is one of my all time favorite hotels.  Located just outside Napa, it is a little slice of heaven.  All of the rooms are individual cottages spread through out the property.  (I want to put one of them in our backyard.)

This is a wonderful property for an incentive, wedding (of course) or an executive meeting.  Their meeting space has a contemporary, residential feel with amazing natural light….

YUM:: Chicago Q Restaurant

I was in Chicago last week and when I’m traveling, I love to try new restaurants.
I mentioned in my check-in post earlier in the week about Chicago Q.  It’s an urban BBQ joint that is in the Gold Coast District.  This area is filled with great restaurants and this is one to add to your list of “must visit” next time you’re in Chicago.

V. Sattui Winery & Blueprint Studios

A couple of weeks ago I headed up to the Napa Valley to an event at V. Sattui Winery.  The last time I was here was a very long time ago, for one of my dear friends wedding.  It poured rain that day (it hadn’t rained on that day in 99 years).  So to say that I really didn’t get to see the winery in all it’s glory was an understatement.
