Field Trip: La Tavola Linen – Napa Valley

On Tuesday, our team headed up to Napa to the La Tavola Linen Showroom.  Oh my – we were in heaven.  First of all, I could just move into their showroom where you are surrounded by gorgeous linen and beautiful accessories with their new Theoni Collection.  To say we were drooling is an understatement.

I’ve been to their San Francisco location.  We actually rented linen from them last year and shipped to to Naples…

We came across this Photobooth over on instagram and loved it – I mean a photobooth in a vintage VW Bus – genius!  It’s great for weddings, corporate events or parties.  The Booth Bus is sure to be a showstopper.  We was so excited about this – we forwarded it to a client and are already trying to figure out how we can bring it into the hotel.

Well, weddings inspire me and I love coming up with ways to “corporatize” and enhance the ideas for my market.

The event took place at the historic San Francisco Ferry Building….

Inspired By: Mix ‘n Match Seating

Lately I’ve loved mix ‘n match seating for all types of events.  There is nothing worse then walking into a space and all you see are a sea of tables or chairs.  There are many instances where you don’t have a choice of set-up.  But when you have the opportunity to mix it up – do.

Ideas for Theater Seating
Try using upholstered chairs and sofas and add in a few end tables.  We did just that for a small group of…

Checking Out: Jackson Hole, Wyoming

I thought it would be fun to see what hotels I’m currently “checking out” for some of our clients.

We have a client that is looking for a snow destination, but not for skiing.  Their activity of choice is snowmobiling.

When searching for the ideal setting for a clients meeting or event, we look for very specific details that will 1) meet their goals, 2) add to the experience of the meeting or event 3) offers…

Room 101: Watsons Bay Hotel – Australia

I discovered this gem, Watsons Bay Hotel on the Vogue Living Australia Blog.  I love discovering new properties in unconventional ways.  It was this image that made me want to find out more about Watsons Bay.

Maybe it was the farm table, the white chairs and the flowers.  Not sure, but this looks like a wonderful spot to have a dinner party.

And then I saw this picture…

and thought this would be…
