City Crush:: Dallas

Well Howdy ya’ll!

This weeks City Crush is all about Dallas in the Lone Star State – Texas.  I love Dallas.  I love the Southern hospitality, the howdy’s and the ya’lls.  Sports are plentiful with the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks – you name it, they have it.

Hotel Zaza is one of the hippest and stylish hotels in Uptown Dallas.
Wanna maybe spot a rockstar? Well check out the Hotel Crescent Court.  If you’re lucky, you just might.
The W Victory is uber hip and if you want to head to a Mav game, you’re right across the street.

Oddfellows has been rated as the best mac-n-cheese (ya’ll know I’d love that) and the best coffee in town.
Breadwinner Cafe has been rated as the best breakfast joint.
Looking for some amazing Italian, well you can’t go wrong with Taverna. Get there a little early for some people watching.

Fun Things To Do
The Fortworth Stockyards has something for everyone both young and old.  Don’t you think going to a rodeo would be fun?
The Dallas Arboretum has so much to offer, from concerts in the park to botanical garden tours.
Wanting to check out sealife?  Head to the Childrens Aquarium in Fair Park.

Fun Finds
You can’t go wrong with Sprinkles Cupcakes – they are loved by just about everyone.
After eating a Hyponotic Donut (yes you read correctly), you will definitely be in a trance.
Food Trucks, food trucks and more food trucks – these are becoming popular everywhere and Dallas is on this bandwagon. (If you click the link, the food truck schedule will pop up.)

Interested in past City Crushes?  Check out San Francisco, Phoenix or NYC.

    If you have more time to spend in Dallas, you can try Dallas corporate apartments. It's more comfortable and in many cases (and depending on how long you stay), cheaper. A lot easier if you have a family as well. Great guide, and now I'm hungry for Italian food 🙁
