I thought it would be fun to see what hotels I’m currently “checking out” for some of our clients.
We have a client that is looking for a snow destination, but not for skiing. Their activity of choice is snowmobiling.
When searching for the ideal setting for a clients meeting or event, we look for very specific details that will 1) meet their goals, 2) add to the experience of the meeting or event 3) offers something unique and 4) meets their budget.
The Client: A high-tech company in Silicon Valley.
The Purpose: An intimate executive offsite that encompasses team building and training. The location needs to be easily accessible and offer snowmobiling.
The Style: This client doesn’t like over the top swankiness but definitely values service and convenience.
The Location: Where it snows and easily accessible for the attendees that were coming from all over the United States.
We narrowed down the location to Colorado, Utah, Whistler/Canada and Wyoming.
Here are the properties that we loved in Jackson Hole, Wyoming:
Amagani
Amangani which means peaceful home clings to the crest of the East Gros Ventre Butte, some 7000 feet above sea level, high above the town of Jackson, Wyoming. The 40-suite retreat is a year-round destination acting as a premier ski resort December through March, and is the ideal base for exploring the magnificent natural surroundings in the warmer months.

Four Seasons Jackson Hole
Surrounded by the breathtaking vistas of Jackson Hole’s famed Grand Tetons and teeming with an inspiring array of wildlife, the Four Seasons Jackson Hole is a luxury mountain resort and hotel which offers the perfect mix of rustic adventure and luxury accommodations. You can ski, bike, raft (and in our case snowmobile) to your heart’s content.
