Lately I’ve loved mix ‘n match seating for all types of events. There is nothing worse then walking into a space and all you see are a sea of tables or chairs. There are many instances where you don’t have a choice of set-up. But when you have the opportunity to mix it up – do.
Ideas for Theater Seating
Try using upholstered chairs and sofas and add in a few end tables. We did just that for a small group of 30.
Ideas for Classroom Seating
Instead of your typical school room tables – how about using small cocktail rounds? You will have a similar effect with crescent rounds, but it will be more intimate. By doing this, you’re instantly creating a networking opportunity. Note: you will need some extra space to achieve the look. This type of seating would be ideal for groups of 50-100.
(This isn’t the best representation, but I think you get the idea.)
Ideas for Banquet Seating
This post was actually inspired by the photos below that I found on Style Me Pretty. I love mixing table sizes and shapes for lunches and dinners. It also welcomes creativity with your tabletop design and is able to accommodate large groups as well as those that are wanting more intimate conversation.
