Snapshots from Scottsdale

Monday, December 8, 2014

Over the last few weeks we have been busily scouting locations for our client’s one hundred person partner conference coming up in Fall of 2015.   We have focused the search to Arizona and have been looking for hip properties that exude modern luxury.

Below are a few snapshots our client took during their recent site visits to some of the properties we found for them near Scottsdale.  We love it when the hotels and resorts get all decked out for the holidays. Don’t you?

Firesky Resort and Spa (a Kimpton Property)

A cozy, deluxe resort located close to Old Town Scottsdale, we love the urban, modern feel of the Firesky lobby.  The Firesky property offers 204 sleeping rooms and 14,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor meeting space.

The Saguaro Scottsdale (a Joie de Vivre property)

Having gone through a few owners over the years, the Saguaro Scottsdale really shines under the Joie de Vivre ownership.  They even made it on the Conde Nast “HOT LIST” in 2012.  Located in Old Town Scottsdale, guests at this hotel can literally walk out the door for shopping and fun restaurants.   With 194 guest rooms and 20,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor meeting space we feel the vibe is very hip and modern and perfect space for a high-tech crowd.

The Omni Scottsdale Resort at Montelucia (an Omni property)

The ROAR team had the pleasure of experiencing the service and accommodations of the Montelucia first hand last year when we attended the Engage retreat. First an Intercontinental, then a KSL and now an Omni, we just love this resort and feel Omni has done a great job maintaining the consistency.  Located in Paradise Valley, this property has 293 sleeping rooms and over 100,000 square feet of traditional and unique indoor/outdoor meeting space.

The Boulders (a Waldorf-Astoria Hotel)

A unique luxury property located in Carefree, AZ,  The Boulders is a breath of fresh air complimenting the beautiful landscape of the surrounding Sonoran Desert.  If you’re interested in golf, this resort won’t disappoint with their Jay Morrish designed 18-hole course.   This resort offers 223 adobe style sleeping rooms and 20,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor meeting space.

Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North

Nestled at the base of Pinnacle Peak in the high Sonoran Dessert, the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is a golfer’s dream with two golf courses designed by legendary golfer Tom Weiskopf.  This luxury resort also includes two tennis courts, two outdoor pools, a fitness center, and a 24-hour business center to compliment the 210 adobe style casitas and 35,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor meeting space.

So, which location do you think our client should choose for their partner conference?
