You’ve seen our new website, but before there was a site, we needed the Flosites team to create the logo and with that, new business cards. Business cards are hard and to be honest, I’m a real stickler about the quality and feel of the paper. ROAR events is all about making statements and creating experiences and the cards needed to reflect that. One design just wouldn’t due – so we had two designed instead. Both similar, but oh so different.
I met Alexandra of Aerialist Press via Instagram (gotta love social media!) and fell in love with her designs and style. I knew that I wanted her to print our “fancy” cards. The paper is super thick with black on black foil on the front with gold and white foil on the back. It reminds me of an American Express Black Card. They’re the ultimate in luxury and make such a statement. (And by the way – I can’t wait to collaborate with Alex on another project and extra bonus for me, she’s local.)
We still needed a card that could be handed out at trade shows and industry events. The ombre look is very in, so Ross and team designed it using a couple of the brand colors and created a simple yet elegant card. We had these cards digitally printed at Legacy Print (my go to printer for events) using a really heavy uncoated paper and spot varnished.
I love the way both of them turned out. It’s a perfect reflection of who we are.
